Al-hamdulillah we are excited to let you that we are organising the first ever Al-Ansar Centre Fundraising dinner.  We ask that you make dua that it is a success and support it as much as you can.  The aim is to raise as much as possible to facilitate the redevelopment of the centre into a modern islamic centre with facilities for both men & women.

We have employed the skills of a highly experienced architect to design a facility that utilises the maximum space as well as a building that is fully functional.  You can see some of the three dimentional images of the proposed plans by clicking here.

The new facility will include dedicated wudu facilities for both brothers & Sister, as well as a dedicated area for sisters.

The quicker we raise the money for the redevelopment, the quicker we can move on with the plans (by the permission of Allah [swt].

The project has been divided into two phases. Phase one will consist of the extension of the basement, ground and first floor (at rear of property) and the renovation of the ground floor into a large hall.  We have been quoted a cost of £200,000 for Phase one.

The second phase involves the rebuilding of the large rear garage into two floor which we have been quoted arounded £250,000.

The ground floor redevelopment will increase the capacity by 105%
The first floor expansion will increase the capacity by 222%

The Dinner

We have booked the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel for the evening of Saturday 13th March 2010 at 6:30pm.

Tickets for the fundraising dinner will be £40 per head and there will be separate seating for both Brothers & Sisters. The tickets include a sumptious 'three-course meal'.  Inshallah this should be a fun evening with good company, which will include an auction to raise money for the centre.
